Ready for more free stuff? We thought so. This week’s giveaway is brought to you by Shades of Light, a specialty lighting and home decor store known for a wide selection of beautifully designed fixtures and accessories. Shades of Light’s products have been featured in several national shelter magazines, and if you live in Richmond you’ve likely seen their Broad Street storefront near Willow Lawn. Recently we connected with their team at a local event and learned about their new Inspired Spaces blog, which shares lighting advice, design tips, and inspiring before-and-after project photos.

Shades of Light offers many styles—from vintage and classic to contemporary and coastal—across a broad range of products including lamps, chandeliers, pendants, rugs, mirrors, and select furniture pieces. Their catalog and online shop make it easy to explore different lighting styles and visualize how a new fixture could transform a room. For this giveaway they’ve provided an exclusive bamboo table lamp that blends natural materials with elegant finishes, creating a versatile look that suits both modern and traditional interiors.

The prize winner will get to choose their preferred finish: the polished silver-accented version or the sleek black-accented version pictured above. This bamboo table lamp makes a great accent piece for a bedside table, entry console, living room side table, or home office. Its blend of organic texture and refined hardware offers both warmth and sophistication, helping to anchor a room while providing practical task or ambient lighting.

Entering the giveaway is simple. Comment on this post with the phrase “LIGHT ME UP” by Wednesday, February 25th at 8pm EST. In your comment, feel free to mention what else lights you up—whether it’s a favorite treat like chocolate, the freedom of the weekend, a beloved pet, or a design trend that excites you. We love reading what sparks joy for our readers, and those personal details make the giveaway fun for everyone.

Eligibility: this prize is available to residents of the lower 48 United States. Please note that only one entry per email address is allowed. We will select one winner at random and announce the name later in the week. The winner selection process uses a random method to ensure fairness.

About the lamp: the bamboo base offers a natural, textural element, while the metal finish and shade options elevate the look so it works in many decor schemes. Whether you’re updating a lamp you already own or adding a statement piece to a room, this lamp provides both style and function. It’s a practical addition for anyone who values layered lighting and quality craftsmanship.
