UPDATE: Entry for this contest is now closed. Thanks to everyone who entered — all 500 or so of you. The winner will be announced on December 18th.

We’re excited to offer a giveaway tailored for DIYers and professionals alike: a brand-new DeWalt TrackSaw. This precision tool blends the portability of a circular saw with the straight-cut accuracy commonly associated with a table saw. It’s an ideal choice for projects that demand clean, reliable cuts—think hardwood flooring, cabinet faces, door blanks, and other finish carpentry tasks. For reference, this model retails at around $500.

If you’re unfamiliar with a TrackSaw, imagine the ease of making long, perfectly straight cuts without needing a full-size table saw or a lengthy guide rail setup. The saw runs along a guide track that helps eliminate drift and chatter, producing professional-looking results with less setup time. For people who work on remodels, build built-ins, or frequently cut sheet goods, a TrackSaw can significantly improve both speed and accuracy.

We realize not everyone keeps a garage full of tools—our own collection is pretty modest—so rather than add another tool to our bench, we’re giving this one away to a reader. This is a chance to add a versatile, high-quality saw to your toolkit without the usual investment.

How to enter: Leave a comment on this post with the exact phrase “I CAME. I SAW. I [fill in the blank with something fun].” Submit your comment by 8:00 PM EST on Wednesday, December 17th to qualify. We will accept one entry per email address. The giveaway winner will be chosen at random and notified after the entry period closes.

To keep things fair and transparent, entries will be collected and the winner will be selected using a random, unbiased method. We encourage creative and lighthearted responses—tell us how you’d use the TrackSaw or share a brief, funny finish to the phrase.

We’ll announce the lucky recipient on December 18th, so cross your fingers and start planning your next woodworking or renovation project. Whether you’re tackling trim, laying flooring, or crafting custom cabinetry, a TrackSaw can help raise the quality of your finished work.

This giveaway is a simple way for us to give back to the community of readers who follow our projects, share tips, and send questions. We enjoy seeing how people apply tools and techniques to their own homes, and giveaways like this let us support that creativity in a practical way.

Remember the contest deadline: comment with the required phrase by 8:00 PM EST on Wednesday, December 17th. One entry per email address. The winner will be randomly selected and announced on December 18th. If you don’t win this time, keep an eye on future posts—there will be more opportunities to score useful gear and useful inspiration for your next build.
