Do snake plants flower?
Snake plants can produce small, fragrant white or pale yellow flowers, but flowering is uncommon for indoor specimens. It often occurs only under stress or very specific conditions. If flowering does occur, it may produce berries that can grow new plants.
What other types of snake plants are there?
Several cultivars and related species exist. Popular varieties include Bird’s Nest Snake Plant (Dracaena trifasciata ‘Hahnii’) and Twisted Sister (‘Twisted Sister’). Other related species include Dracaena patens, Dracaena pearsonii (also called “Rhino grass”), and Dracaena masoniana (often called the whale-fin snake plant).
